   Sensuality, Sexuality and Spirituality in Indian Dance and Philosophy 

        Sensuality, sexuality & spirituality are all interconnected in Indian dance. The shakti energy of the goddesses and the shakta energy of the gods work in unison to create a balanced and harmonious environment within us. One of the main themes in Indian dance is love, love between humanity, love between humanity & divinity and beyond. Through the understanding of the male and female aspects of Indian dance and philosophy, understanding of the shakta and shakti energies, performing the sensual dance postures, creating the sensual mudra expressions and dancing the pulsating rhythmic movements; one becomes lost in the passion and sacredness of the dance of life!!!
